Vegetable Poha

Frnds  the recipe m posting that  is  vegetable poha is not a heavy snack and to make it healthy i hv put carrots,beans and peas to it.and i hv also put few potatoes to it also.if u want to make it more healthy then dont put potatoes into it but i hv added few potatoes to because it will taste more good with few potatoes to it.The recipe of vegetable poha which m posting is easy to make and at the same time healthy too.

INGREDIENTS  OF VEGETABLE POHA:

1.Chivda(pressed rice, flattened rice): 2 cups

2 .carrot(boiled and chopped): 1/4 cup 


3.Beans(boiled and chopped):1/4 cup


4.peas(boiled and chopped):1/4 cup


5.oil:for frying


6.potatoes(chopped): 2 potatoes required


7.onions(chopped) 2 onions required


8.red chilies whole:2 to 3 


9.curry leaves:7 to 8 curry leaves required


10.lemon:1 


11.black mustard seeds(kali rye):1 small tsp


12.peanuts:1 to 2 small tsp

13.salt:to taste


14.turmeric powder:1/2 tsp


METHOD OF VEGETABLE POHA:

1.Soak the rice and drain the rice and keep aside for some time.

2. Now take a kadhai,put oil in it and when the oil is heated up fry  peanuts in it.

3.when peanuts turn red then they are done  remove them from kadhai and and keep aside them on a paper so the oil frm the peanuts is soaked by the paper and all extra oil is removed from the peanuts

4.now in the same kadhai when the oil is heated up again fry the potatoes in it.when the potatoes turn golden yellow take out from the kadhai and put on the newspaper.

5.In  the same kadhai put the onions in it and when the onions are soft then after that put  red chilies whole,black mustard seeds,curry leaves.

6.then put rice in it and stir and mix it with the big spoon and then u put  the the ingredients which u hv fried that is peanuts and potatoes and then you put boiled vegetables that is beans ,carrot and peas to it 

7.then put salt and turmeric powder.

8.at the last squeez  the lemon and put in the rice

9.transfer it into a seving bowl and garnish it with green corriander and serve hot.
