Chilli Chicken






Hi everybody i was quite busy for few days dats why i was not posting new recipes n not doing blogging.So now m back with blogging and posting new recipes.And m posting my new recipe which i tried it out and never thought it will come out really well because its a non veg dish and i normally cook veg.But this time i thought of making a non veg dish n thought of juz giving a try and could not imagine dat for me non veg dish will come out well.So frnds here m posting a recipe of chilli chicken in indian style with a some amount of chinese ingredients.This i hv made more in indian style than in chinese style.i hope u all will like.

INGREDIENTS:
1. Chicken whole(cleaned and cut into pieces):1kg

2.Green chilli : 4 to 5

3.White pepper powder:1/4 tsp

4.Black pepper powder:1/4 tsp

5.yogurt (curd):1/2 cup

6.Turmeric powder:1/4tsp

7.Soya sauce:2 tbsp

8.Cornflour:2 tbsp

9.Ginger:1/2 inch

10.Garlic:4 cloves

11.onion:1

12.tomato:1

13.salt:to taste

14.oil:as required

15.capsicum(chopped into thick slices):1

16.Agenomotto:1/4 tsp

17.Red chilli powder:1/4 tsp

METHOD:

1.Cut onion and tomato into small pieces.Add ginger,garlic and paste.

2.Cut thin slices of green chilli

3.Mix red chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder,yogurt(curd),soya sauce,
cornflour and 2tbsp oil and marinate the chicken with this mixture for one hour.also add agenomotto

4.Then apply onion-tomato paste to the chicken and again marinate for one hour

5.Heat oil in a pan add green chillies,capsicum,white pepper powder and black pepper powder and fry

6.Add chicken marinade and fry until half cooked.Stir ocassionally

7.Mix rest of the cornflour and soya sauce in water and add to the chicken.

8.Add little water(about 2 to 3 cups) to make thick gravy and bring it to boil

9.Cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on low flame.keep a constant watch

10.Garnish it with green chilli on the sides and sprinkle chopped green coriander all over the chicken.

11.Serve hot.
